Terms & Open-Source License
Effective August 31, 2026
Plain-language summary
SolidX is free and open source under CPAL 1.0.
Anyone may use, modify, self-host, and deploy SolidX, including commercially, with no license fees, revenue caps, or production-use limits. CPAL 1.0 attribution, notice, and source-availability conditions still apply. The license text in the applicable SolidX source repository controls over this summary.
1. Agreement and Scope
These terms govern access to the SolidX website and describe the licensing of the SolidX software platform. SolidX is operated by Logicloop Ventures Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). By using this website, you agree to these website terms. Your rights to a particular release of the SolidX software are governed by the license included with that release.
2. CPAL 1.0 Software License
SolidX is licensed under the Common Public Attribution License 1.0 (CPAL 1.0), an Open Source Initiative-approved license.
Subject to CPAL 1.0, individuals and organizations may use, reproduce, modify, distribute, self-host, and make SolidX available as a network service for personal or commercial purposes. These rights do not depend on revenue, funding, organization size, or whether the software is used in development or production.
The complete license, project notices, and completed exhibits distributed in the applicable SolidX source repository are legally controlling. Nothing on this page replaces or modifies those terms.
3. Required SolidX Attribution
Where Section 14 of CPAL 1.0 applies, each graphical user interface must prominently display the attribution information specified for SolidX when the interface is launched or a user begins a new session. You may add your own branding, but you may not remove, hide, or obscure the required SolidX attribution.
Powered by SolidX
https://solidxai.comDisplay requirements must remain reasonably modest and consistent with CPAL 1.0. The applicable repository contains the official attribution asset and implementation details.
4. External Deployment and Source Availability
CPAL 1.0 treats External Deployment as distribution. This includes making the Original Code or Modifications available for use by anyone other than you, including as a network application.
If you externally deploy, modify, or distribute CPAL-covered SolidX code, you must preserve applicable notices and make the required source code available in the manner required by CPAL 1.0. Commercial hosting is permitted when these obligations are met.
5. Generated Applications and Code Ownership
You retain your rights in your metadata, configurations, business logic, and original application code. Pure generated output that does not contain or incorporate CPAL-covered SolidX code is not subject to CPAL 1.0 merely because SolidX generated it. You may modify, deploy, and distribute that output without a SolidX runtime-attribution requirement.
If a generated application contains or incorporates CPAL-covered SolidX code, the covered portions remain subject to CPAL 1.0, including applicable attribution, notice, and source-availability obligations. Your independently written or generated portions are not converted into SolidX-owned code solely by being used alongside covered code.
6. Trademarks
The SolidX name and logo are trademarks owned by Logicloop Ventures Limited. You are granted limited permission to display the official SolidX name, logo, phrase, and URL as necessary to satisfy the CPAL 1.0 attribution requirement and to make truthful statements about compatibility or origin.
This permission does not authorize use that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or official status, or use of the SolidX marks as the primary identity of an unrelated product or service. All other trademark rights are reserved.
7. Optional Enterprise Support
Enterprise Support, service-level commitments, onboarding, training, architecture advisory, and other professional services are optional paid offerings. Purchasing support is not required to use SolidX and does not expand or reduce your CPAL 1.0 rights. Learn more on the Enterprise Support page.
8. Intellectual Property
Except for rights expressly granted under CPAL 1.0 or these terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses. Product documentation, website content, and brand assets may have terms different from the SolidX software and should not be assumed to be covered by CPAL 1.0 unless expressly stated.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE, SOFTWARE, AND RELATED MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE APPLICABLE SOFTWARE LICENSE MAY CONTAIN ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMERS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGICLOOP VENTURES LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM USE OF THE WEBSITE OR SOFTWARE. THE APPLICABLE SOFTWARE LICENSE MAY CONTAIN ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS.
11. Privacy
The self-hosted SolidX software is designed to run on infrastructure you control. We do not receive data processed solely within your self-hosted deployment. Separate website, contact, analytics, or optional service interactions may involve data you choose to provide and are handled according to applicable privacy requirements.
12. Changes
We may update these website terms and this explanatory page from time to time. Changes to this page do not retroactively alter the license included with a previously released version of SolidX. Material website-term changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
13. Governing Law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Logicloop Ventures Limited is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The governing-law provision in CPAL 1.0 applies separately to CPAL-covered software.
